Vehicle Crime Prevention Advice

Dear Residents,

Residents are advised to remain vigilant and take the following precautions to help protect their vehicles:

Always ensure your vehicle is locked and secure, even when parked outside your home.

Remove valuables, bags and other property from view.

Do not leave keys near doors, windows or letterboxes where they may be accessible.

Consider using a steering wheel lock or other visible security device.

Where possible, park in a well-lit and secure location.

Ensure any CCTV, security lighting or video doorbells are working correctly.

Be alert to people acting suspiciously around vehicles and report suspicious behaviour to police.
